At WWDC 2017, Apple unveiled HomePod, a speaker rival to Amazon’s Echo and Google’s Home. This is the brand-new hardware product from Apple. Apple’s new speaker lets you play music, look up basic information and control your lighting as well. It is a powerful speaker and is capable of playing amazing sound. This wireless speaker uses spatial awareness to sense its location in a room and automatically adjusts the audio output.

The speaker utilizes an advanced algorithm to continuously analyze the music and dynamically tune the low frequencies. It is capable of providing distortion-free music. HomePod combines Apple-engineered audio technology with advanced software to deliver the highest-fidelity sound.

The speaker works along with Apple Music and requires one to have music streaming service subscription. HomePod brings out the best in the Apple Music. Also, the speaker combines the intelligence of Siri and offers access to the recordings. This helps users to discover every song they would love to hear.

The HomePod is powered by Apple’s A8 chip and will be available for purchase in US. It is priced at $349. With this price tag, it is costlier as compared to those from Amazon and Google.
