Verizon Wear24 Smartwatch
Verizon announced the Wear24 Smartwatch back in February and now, it is finally available for purchase in US. It costs $349.99 and US customers can now purchase it. If you are looking to sign a contract to get this smartwatch, Verizon Wear24 will cost you $299.99 on a two-year contract. Here, we take a look at its features:
Classy Design
Verizon Wear24 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The wearable is not small and is about 13.4mm in thickness and 42mm across. It weighs 85 grams. It features a slim sleek profile in stainless steel and goes for both men and women. The wearable comes in three color options: stainless steel, gun metal and rose gold. The smartwatch features a durable and high quality silicone rubber band which makes it comfortable to wear all day long.
Specifications
The smartwatch is powered by Android Wear 2.0 and is a pretty solid wearable. As the watch has android wear software, you will be getting latest from Google. As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC along with 768MB of RAM. It houses 4GB of internal storage.
Battery
The smartwatch is backed by 450mAh non-removable battery. Though it looks like LG Watch Sport but the main difference is the battery life. Watch Sport has 430mAh battery and is slightly thicker than Verizon’s wearable. According to Verizon, it can last up to 60 hours on standby and 18 hours of usage. Verizon Wear24 Smartwatch comes with various pre-installed applications. Also, it comes with pre-installed Verizon SIM Card and the ability to connect to Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
Shortcomings
As the wearable lacks NFC, you won’t be able to use Android Pay. Another shortcoming is that it is missing extra buttons for app shortcuts. Also, it does not include a rotating crown as well. You can check it out at the Verizon website.
