Samsung Galaxy A (2017)Series Smartphones
Samsung has taken off wraps from its much-rumored Galaxy A (2017) series of smartphones. The company has announced three smartphones: Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), and the Galaxy A7 (2017). All three come with IP68 rating and thus, the phones will be able to survive up to 30 minutees underwater at a depth of 1.5 meters. They will also come with fingerprint scanners as well as NFC. These handsets come in attractive colors: black sky, gold sand, peach cloud and blue mist. The company also highlights its metal frame and the “premium design heritage.” In addition, they come with USB Type-C ports, fast charging and always on display.
Galaxy A (2017) series of smartphones offer a host of new features and improvements as compared to its predecessors. The handset has a metal frame and a 3D glass covering the back panel.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)
Galaxy A7 (2017) comes with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full HD display having resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor along with 3GB of RAM. It houses 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. In terms of optics, it is said to have 16MP front and rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed by a 3,600mAh battery with fast charging support as well. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and dual-SIM card slots.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
Galaxy A5 (2017) features a smaller 5.2-inch full-HD super AMOLED display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will run an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone has a 16MP front and back camera as well.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
Galaxy A3 (2017) features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display having resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is compact with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz. It has a 13-megapixel rear snapper with f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel snapper with f/1.9 aperture at the front. Other details include 2350mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.2, Android Marshmallow and dual-SIM card slots.
