Microsoft has introduced the first-ever laptop which the company proclaimed as the “ultimate laptop.” It is a two-in-one notebook and offers long battery life with a distinctive and well-constructed case. It comes with a comfortable keyboard, fast performance and a detachable display to let it work as standalone pen tablet. Microsoft Surface Book i7 supports three different modes: regular laptop mode, clipboard mode and detachable draw mode.
Display and Processor
Surface Book 2016 i7 features a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with 3000 x 2000 pixels of resolution. It comes with same Surface Pen capabilities, same port selection and the same capability to turn the tablet in a pinch. Under the hood, it is powered by a sixth generation Skylake Intel Core i7 processor along with 16GB of RAM. It also houses an Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M GPU. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB. The new GPU is far faster than the predecessor. Microsoft has added a second fan to keep the laptop cool but the Performance Base is also a little thicker than the original model. Of course, it comes loaded with Windows 10.

While the original Surface Book with GeForce Card packs a 53 watt-hour cell, the new one has a nearly 63 watt-hour battery. The Surface Book i7 comes with a stupendous battery life. It has set a new record in battery life with about 13 hours of playback.
