Meet ZTE Axon 7 Mini
ZTE has unveiled the Axon 7 Mini in early September and now, the handset is up for pre-order at Amazon. It comes with premium specifications and keeps the price under $300. The unlocked version is priced at $299.8. ZTE Axon 7 Mini comes in two colors: platinum gray and ion gold.
“Disruption is not led by the company who can deliver the best specs at the lowest price, it’s about a tenacity to put the consumer first,” said Lixin Cheng, chairman and CEO of ZTE USA. “The Axon 7 Mini delivers on both fronts as we listened to consumers who wanted a smaller option to our original Axon 7 at a price that many can afford.”

Display and Processor
The Axon 7 Mini flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display with ppi of 423. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone houses 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The small body makes it comfortable to hold.
Camera and Battery
In terms of camera, it features a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and phase detect autofocus features. At the front, it has an 8MP camera having f/2.2 aperture. The phone is backed by a 2705mAh battery and it also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
Other Features
It also includes a fingerprint scanner and comes with support for USB Type-C. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and has unlocked GSM connectivity. Talking about the audio, the device includes Dolby dual front-facing speakers which ZTE claims to offer the highest audio experience available in smartphones today. The Dolby Atmos is always known for providing an immersive Hi-Fi audio experience. The handset also includes best warranty and protection plans. The Axon Passport Program 2.0 includes a 2 year warranty, unlimited out of warranty repairs, replacement assistance, upgrade assistance and more.
