Nintendo Switch Unveiled
Nintendo officially reveals the Nintendo Switch console. It is a new hybrid video game console allowing gamers to play on it at home as well as on the road as a handheld. This new console focuses on portable play by enabling one to play same title whenever, wherever and with whomever they want to. Nintendo Switch claims that it is possible for “numerous people to bring their Nintendo Switch systems together to enjoy local multiplayer face-to-face competition.” Thus, it now supports offline multiplayer. Home and Handheld Console
Nintendo Switch is both a home and handheld console. So, when you want to play the Switch at home, you can connect it to a docking station that will hook it up to the TV. To play it on the go, you can take it from the docking station and plug in the controller parts. This way, you will see the seamless transition from TV screen to the handheld device screen. So, this modular device is used as a portable console or placed in dock for living room gaming.
With Home Console setup, the controllers can be used wirelessly to play games or these can be attached to grip accessory to get a traditional controller experience.
Specifications
Nintendo Switch aims at gamer of every level from single-player coach to party gaming and even e-sports as well. It is a tablet-like screen with two detachable Joy-Con controllers. The Nintendo Switch is powered by Nvidia Tegra chip and according to Nvidia, it is a “high-efficiency scalable processor includes an Nvidia GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards.”
All-in-one Gaming Module
It is an all-in-one gaming machine, featuring a compact processor with removable controllers and a screen. It features controllers that bolt onto side of the portable screen.
