Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR
Canon has released its next-generation DSLR camera called as Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. It boasts of a 30.4 megapixel 35mm full frame Canon CMOS sensor that has the functionality of capturing high quality pictures. Also, it has a DIGIC+ image processor to offer 4K 30p video recording. Yuichi Ishizuka, president and COO, Canon U.S.A said, “Canon’s EOS 5D series of DSLR cameras has a history of being at the forefront of still and video innovation. And today, we add to this family of cameras the EOS 5D Mark IV– the first in our 5D series to offer 4K video and built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity.” “In developing this new DSLR camera, we listened to the requests of current EOS users to create for them a modern, versatile camera designed to help them create and share beautiful still and video imagery,” he added.
Touchscreen
The camera features a 1.62m-dot 3.2” full-time touchscreen, letting you experience the Live View. You just need to tap the screen to focus on or track a subject. This touchscreen LCD display can be used for focusing, image playback or menu operation. There’s also an Intelligent Viewfinder II that uses the transmissive LCD to overlay the focus area.
30.4MP full-frame CMOS
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV comes with a new 30.4MP CMOS full0frame sensor along with dual pixel AF and a Digic 6+ processor. The sensor not only offers increased resolution over its predecessor but also improved Raw dynamic range. The new AF system can be utilized for viewfinder shooting. Its 61-point AF module provides up to 24% greater vertical coverage in comparison of Mark III.
4K Video Recording
Canon 5D Mark IV is capable of shooting 4K videos with continuous and decisive refocusing even on moving subjects. The dual pixel AF allows one to effectively shoot 8.8MP at 30fps. It comes with both CompactFlash and SD memory card slots. The camera also has the capability to continuous shoot up to 7.0 fps.
Incredible low-light Photography
As the camera features an ISO range of 100-32000, it is a great choice photography in low-light conditions. It has also an extended ISO range to work well in dim light situations. The sensor of Canon EOS 5D Mark IV has an improved S/N ratio and improved noise-processing algorithm to deliver high-quality light sensitivity.

Price and Availability
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera is scheduled to release on September 8. It comes with a price of $3,499 for the body only and $4,399 for the one with EF24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens. There’s also a one with EF24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens that costs $4,599 and will be available by late October.
