The Chinese manufacturer, ZTE, continues to focus on the budget phone market. The ZTE Zmax Pro is a 6-inch phablet priced as low as $99. It is available for pre-orders today on MetroPCS and features a fingerprint sensor as well. It is a feature-packed phone and offers you excellent value for money. The phone will hit Metro PCS stores starting August 1 and the first 5000 pre-registered customers who buy the phone will be mailed a free leather flip case. Display and Processor

At the jaw-dropping price of $99, you get a big 6-inch 1080p display. The handset offers a premium feel and the overall design feels sturdy. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz paired with a decent 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Camera

At the back, there’s a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection feature. There’s a 5MP front-facer for selfies. The camera interface is feature packed and offers advanced controls to the users. You will also find a fingerprint scanner at the back meeting your authentication needs.

ZTE Zmax Pro is backed by a 3400mAh battery. The handset packs a USB Type-C port and also supports fast charging. The smartphone also offers dual-SIM card slots, one of which doubles as a microSD holder for those with one SIM card.

“Affordability is part of our DNA,” said ZTE’s CEO Lixin Cheng. He said the high-end phone market is shrinking, and that making more affordable devices is the company’s mission.
