Meet Samsung Notebook 7 Spin

Samsung has officially launched their new Notebook 7 Spin that comes with Windows 10. The notebook is available in two sizes: a 15.6-inch and a 13-inch notebook. It will be available beginning June 26, 2016 from Samsung.com at the price of $799.99.The notebook has been designed for multimedia enthusiasts and features an impressive 1 terabyte hard drive, and 360-degree full HD touchscreen. It can be fully powered in under 100 minutes.

Gary Riding, senior vice president, Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America said, “The Notebook 7 spin is a flexible, powerfully entertaining multimedia laptop that echoes the incredible design and power of our existing award winning Notebook line.””Consumers are using PCs for everything from working on the go to streaming entertainment around the home, and with the Notebook 7 spin, we’ve built a multimedia laptop that is ready for today and built for tomorrow. It has the unique ability to upgrade by adding an SSD to cut down on load times while also adding storage, as well as the ability to upgrade the RAM, enabling consumers to accomplish more at once,” he added.

Display and Processor

Samsung Notebook 7 Spin comes in two screen models of 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch with full HD resolution with HDR (High Dynamic Range) video support. Under the hood, there’s Intel Core i5 or i7 Processor coupled with 8GB of RAM for 13-inch model or 16GB RAM for 15-inch model. The notebooks come with 1TB of hard drive storage and one can also configure 15-inch model with 128GB of SSD storage. The 13-inch model comes with the Intel HD Graphics 5200 and the 15-inch model features NVIDIA GeForce 940MX.

360-degree Rotating Touchscreen

The Notebook 7 Spin is capable of rotating at 360-degree and promises to offer you the best view. You can use this device as a notebook when emailing or can rotate it all the way for tablet mode. It runs on Windows 10. The device comes with an intuitively designed automatic backlit keyboard for comfortable watching, playing or chatting.

Other Features

On the 13-inch model, you will find several ports such as HDMI, one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, one USB Type-C and a microSD card slot. Samsung is touting the laptop comes with fast-charging feature which extends the battery life by up to two hours after charging it for just 20 minutes. The 15.6-inch version of the notebook can fully charge in 90 minutes while the 13.3-inch model requires about 100 minutes. The 15-inch laptop includes a number pad as well.
