About Lumigon T3
Danish technology company, Lumigon has come up with a new smartphone called Lumigon T3. It is the world’s first smartphone that comes with night vision camera. It is successor to the company’s T2 launched in 2012. It is currently priced at $740 in the US. “We wanted to create a new smartphone that reflects our design philosophy,” says Lumigon CEO Lars Gravesen. “The glass and steel used in the T3 are extremely durable, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing the look and feel of the phone. In fact, it provides a great balance between design, premium materials, innovation and technology.”
Display and Processor
The smartphone comes with 4.8-inch screen and has a Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display features Gorilla Glass 4 coating. It is built from marine-grade 316 stainless steel. It is dust and water resistant as well. It also comes with a gesture-based ‘BackTouch’ display which makes it easy to scroll through images and websites. It can also be used to take selfies. Lumigon T3 is powered by a 2.2GHz 64-bit MediaTek X10 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It includes a fingerprint sensor as well.
Camera
The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash, 4K video recording in addition to a 5MP front facing camera. The most impressive part of this smartphone is an additional night vision camera of 4MP on the back. This implies that you can take photos and videos in complete darkness. This feature is one of its kinds as it can take photos or videos in darkness. The rear camera can also shoot 128 FPS slow motion video.
Connectivity
As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it comes with Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi and NFC. It has also got external HDMI via MHL and 3.5mm audio jack along with an Infrared receiver and transmitter. The company has not announced the battery capacity of the smartphone as of now. This dual-SIM capability smartphone runs Android 6.0.
Availability
The smartphone also has a special version of the phone which is made from 24-karat gold. It is available for order from company’s website and is shipping worldwide. In the box, you will find a designer Hi-Fi handset to make use of 24-bit/192kHz audio support. The phone also includes stereo speakers to boot and an IR blaster to control electronics at home.
