Meet Huawei Honor 5A
Huawei has just announced the Honor 5A smartphone, a successor to 4A. It is a budget smartphone running the Android OS and 4F LTE connectivity with VoLTE feature. It is a feature-packed phone and the company has managed to set the price at 699 yuan. Let’s have a close look at it:
Display and Processor
Huawei Honor 5A smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS display with 178-degree viewing angle and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The display is protected with the tempered glass protection. The smartphone comes in two versions: one with 1.2GHz octa-core Kirin 620 processor coupled with Mali 450 graphics and another version with an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor along with Adreno 450 graphics. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and internal storage space of 16GB. The internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Huawei Honor 5A runs on Android Marshmallow 5.0 operating system with Emotion UI 4.1 atop it.
Camera
Talking about the camera, it comes with a 13MP primary shooter with Sony OmniVision sensor and LED flash at the back of it. The smartphone features f/2.0 aperture and 28mm wide-angle lens. At the front, there’s an 8MP camera with Sony/Hynix BSI sensor, 27 wide-angle 4P lens and f/2.0 aperture.
Battery and Connectivity
It is powered by 3,100 mAh battery to keep the device juiced up. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it features 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and dual-SIM support. It measures 154.3 x 77.1 x 8.45mm and weighs 168 grams.
Price and Availability
The smartphone is announced in China as of now with color options of black, white, blue and gold. It is priced at 699 Yuan for the standard version. The smartphone version which is specific to China Telecom, China Unicom and other networks is priced at 799 Yuan. It will be available in China starting from June 17. As of now, there’s no word on the global availability of the smartphone.
