Meet Xiaomi Mi Max
Xiaomi has unveiled a new Mi Max smartphone with an all-new metal build and ROM. The smartphone is getting attention for its massive 6.44-inch full-HD display. Xiaomi wrote in a tweet, “Meet #MiMax, our largest smartphone yet.” Here are the complete details.
Design and Processor
Xiaomi Mi Max features a massive 6.44-inch full-HD 342ppi display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It comes with a slim 7.5mm body and also features a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel. Under the hood, it runs on Snapdragon 650 or 652 processor and 3GB/4GB of RAM. It runs on Android v6.2 Marshmallow and features a powerful battery of 4,850mAh. The new OS is more power efficient and secure.
Camera and Connectivity
The smartphone sports a 16 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash. It comes with a 5 MP front camera with 85-degree wide-angle view and an f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC and Infrared. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, gyro, and proximity sensors.
Three Different Variants
Xiaomi has announced that the smartphone will be available in three variants: CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for 3GB RAM/32GB storage model; CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17,000) for 3GB RAM/64GB storage model; and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,500) for 4GB RAM/128GB storage model.
