Meet Asus Zenfone Max
The updated Asus Zenfone Max has made its way to India will better specs including an octa-core SoC and inbuilt storage of 32GB. It will be available in four colors: orange, blue, white and black. It comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Design and Display
Asus Zenfone Max comes with a similar design as seem on its previous version. It features three capacitive buttons below the display and there are power and volume buttons on the right side. This model comes with a 5.5-inch TFT LED display with HD. It comes with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the Asus TruVivid technology. It also includes a Bluelight Filter display technology that keeps the users’ eye from stressing too much. It measures 156 x 77.5 x 10.55mm and weighs 202 grams.
Processor
The Asus Zenfone Max comes with an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5GHz along with 32GB of inbuilt storage and Adreno 405 GPU. It will come in two variants: one with 2GB of RAM priced at Rs. 9,999 and other with 3GB variant priced at Rs. 12,999. Asus has brought the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on its smartphone, it could be one of the USP of the smartphones.
Camera
The smartphone packs in 13MP primary camera which takes out detailed shots and low light photography is also good. The primary shooter takes 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. It comes with front camera of 5MP which is capable of capturing good shots with beautification on. The rear camera features are f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus technology and PixelMaster 2.0 for better image capture.
Battery
One of the main highlights of the phone is the massive 5000mAh battery. The brand promises that the battery can last for up to 3 days of usage on a single charge and 38 days on standby. The best part is that the battery turns into a power band and can power up another device when needed. You just need to connect the second device with USB OTG cable.
Connectivity
As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it comes with WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, dual-SIM 4G support, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0. There are two SIM slots and a slot for microSD card. It comes with a 3.5mm standard headphone jack and comes with non-removable battery.
