Display and Processor
Chuwi Hi12 is a large tablet and is sporting a 12-inch display and carry support for 2160 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, there’s an Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 quad-core processor clocked at 1.44GHz and backed by 4GB of RAM. The Chuwi Hi12 will arrive with a native storage of 64 GB. The external storage slot supports up to 128 GB of microSD card.
Unique Features
The most impressive part of Chuwi Hi12 is that it will carry support for two operating systems, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and Windows 10. Hi12 blends the combination of Microsoft and Google operating system to create a budget version of the Surface with Android bolt-on. The company mentioned that it will introduce dual-boot capabilities for the tablet to allow users switch between Android and Windows 10.

On the back of the tablet, there’s a 5MP sensor while the front-facing camera is listed at 2MP. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. It provides with an option to connect detachable magnetic docking keyboard. The battery of the tablet is quite large at 11,000mAh. The company says that you can expect up to eight hours of battery life from the tablet, and will be sold in both black/gray and white/gold color options.
