Oukitel K10000 Comes With A Massive 10,000mAh Battery

Most smartphones available in the market today have batteries less than 3000mAh battery and few ones come with 4000-5000mAh battery. But now, Oukitel has come up with a new smartphone called The Oukitel K10000 that has a whopping 10,000mAh battery. The phone is available for pre-order and will start shipping from 2 January.

USP of Oukitel K10000

The most impressive feature of K10000 is that it can charge other devices. Oukitel users can use the device more than a Power Bank to charge other phones. According to the company, it can charge three iPhone 6S Plus units and still have 10% battery left. The phone has got a really powerful battery that can last for a whole week on normal usage. The K10000 humongous battery charges itself in three and a half hours.

Display and Processor

It features a 5.5inch HD IPS display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It measures 143x77x9mm, and weighs 184 grams. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Camera

Talking about the camera, it features an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The rear camera comes with features like face beauty, Panorama shot, anti-shake, face detection and more.

Connectivity

The connectivity options of the phone include GPRS/ EDGE GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. In terms of the network compatibility, the K10000 works with 2G (GSM) 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G (WCDMA) 1900/2100 MHz and 4G (FDD-LTE) 800/1800/2100/2600 MHz.

Pricing

Priced at $239.99, the smartphone is available for preorder and Gearbest, a US based e-commerce retailer will start shipping it from January 2. As an introductory offer, the company is offering $40 off the price and the handset is available for $199.99.
