South Korean conglomerate, LG, has now started taking pre-order for its flagship smartphone called as LG G4. The company has started teasing the product stating that first few customers might get the chance to receive this smartphone from Bollywood legend, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Consumers who pre-order G4 before June 15 also stand a chance to win assured gifts like LG G4 Metallic Finish Back Cover worth Rs. 2,000; free one time screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500; and free extra battery with charging cradle worth Rs. 3,500.
The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and uses human-centric UX 4.0 for providing a more intuitive experience to the users. Quick Shot is an exciting feature that allows one to take pictures without even opening the camera app. Just simply double tap the rear key when display is off. G4 comes with an-all new Gallery for faster scrolling of your pictures. There’s an improved Smart Notice to provide more personalized notifications for weather, travel and more.
The LG G4 features a 5.5 inch 1440 X 2560 resolution screen with pixel density of 538 ppi. It runs on a 64-bit hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage in addition to microSD slot up to 128GB. G4 owners will also enjoy 100GB of free Google Drive storage space for two years. It comes with 3000mAh removable battery.
It adds some technical changes to its predecessor G3 and these include Quantum IPS panel that is 25% brighter, 50% better contrast and 20% better color accuracy. This smartphone is said to be 11% more efficient than display fitted in G3. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and on the camera front, G4 comes with a new 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 lens and improved image stabilisation. It includes 8MP front camera for selfie lovers. LG G4 comes with a new color spectrum sensor to provide more accurate color and white balance.
Though there’s no official confirmation on the price details, online retailer Infibeam has announced the phone at Rs. 49,999 while Mahesh Telecom said that it will be available at Rs. 51,500.
