Expanding its S Series, Lenovo has launched S60 Smartphone. This mid-range smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD display and is launched at the price of Rs. 12,999. Lenovo S60 features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with wide-angle for selfie-lovers. The camera includes features like scene detection, low light enhancement, geo-tagging, smile shot and face recognition. Lenovo’s camera software offers multiple photo filters along with selfie enhancements and gesture controls.
This dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe 2.0 UI on top. The company said that the phone will be upgraded to Android Lollipop soon though exact time has not been mentioned.
In terms of design, the S60 offers plastic, similar-looking body as Apple iPhone 6. Though it looks like an iPhone, the smartphone also tries to be impressively thin with 7.7mm thin and weighs a relatively light at 128g.
Lenovo S60 smartphone has an in-built memory of 8GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD and comes with 2GB RAM. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.9 and comes with Lenova’s super camera software. The grand S60 smartphone comes with a battery of 2150mAh and the company said that it offers a talk time of up to 30 hours and a standby time of up to 14 days. Impressive! Isn’t it?
With most people complaining about the battery life of Android phones, Lenovo has come up with a smartphone to offer up to 30 hours of talk time. In terms of connectivity, the phone includes 3G, GPRS/EDGE, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. It also includes features like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and a magnetometer.
The device also has P2P sharing app called SHAREit that allows one to share content with friend without Wi-Fi, Data or Bluetooth.

Lenovo S60 Smartphone is available for Rs. 12,999 in India. The smartphone is available at company’s brand store and on ecommerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon starting from 19th May, 2015. The device is available in a Graphite Grey variant.
