Monument Valley, an iPhone and Android game, is an inviting, excellent puzzle game that offers an exciting atmosphere to the players. It puts you in the tiny shoes of Ida, a princess in a world of bizarre geometry and you will guide her through a stunningly beautiful world. You will guide the silent princess through mysterious monuments, uncovering hidden paths and unfolding optical illusions. There’s a sense of importance to Ida’s wanderings. Monument Valley strikes that beautiful balance of making something incredible in construction as well as offering elegantly simple to understand graphics.
The aim of the Monument Valley game is to guide Princess Ida to the top of a series of towers. At the first level, you will get guidelines explaining tapping moves Ida along a path. After that level, there are instances of her story as she travels through the strange landscape. Divided into ten levels, each level has its own unique feel with a separate color palette.
The world you navigate as Princess Ida is strangely beautiful. Every moment is a unique, hand-crafted world to explore. It is a game about the joy of discovery and you play with the world, watching carefully to see what paths can be created from the jumble of angles. The unexpectedly beautiful forms emerge as you swipe the screen grab you, with all stages meticulously crafted to be functional as well as visually appealing. It is a genuinely delightful adventure with many ‘wow’ moments.
Monument Valley features brilliant design, with puzzles that made perfect sense. The experience of playing this game is beautiful but that experience is short as the game has just ten levels. If developers could upgrade it to include more levels, it would be a treat to all the game users.
